I am a driven and dynamic individual with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Exercise Physiology from the University of North Alabama. My academic journey, combined with diverse professional experiences, has equipped me with a robust skill set and a versatile approach to various challenges. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I maintained a commitment to both academic and extracurricular activities, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
During my time at the University of North Alabama, I held a GPA of 2.55, reflecting my dedication and perseverance in a demanding field. My practical experiences complement my academic background, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of the human body and its physical capabilities.
Professionally, I have held several roles that have broadened my skill set and enhanced my understanding of teamwork and leadership. From May 2023 to August 2024, I served as a coach at St. Peter’s Boys Prep School in Johannesburg, South Africa, where I developed and implemented training programs, fostering a supportive and motivating environment for young athletes.
In addition to coaching, I gained valuable customer service and management skills as a bartender at Mother's In Law in Randburg from December 2022 to February 2023. This role honed my ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
My tenure as a basic paramedic with GuardMed in Grahamstown from January 2020 to November 2022 was particularly formative. It underscored the importance of quick thinking, effective communication, and comprehensive medical knowledge. Parallel to this, I was a First Aider at St. Andrew’s College Grahamstown, where I provided essential medical support and ensured the safety and well-being of students and staff.
Additionally, my involvement in marketing for St. Andrew’s College from March 2021 to November 2022 allowed me to develop strategic communication skills and a keen understanding of brand promotion and engagement.
As the Rush Co-chairman for Sigma Chi since January 2024, I have demonstrated leadership and organizational skills, orchestrating recruitment events and fostering a sense of community within the fraternity. This role has further refined my ability to plan, execute, and evaluate large-scale events effectively.
My extracurricular interests and skills are varied. I am a certified DJ and have leveraged my creativity and technical skills to perform at various events. My bartending skills, combined with CPR and First Aid certification, highlight my readiness to handle diverse situations with composure and competence. Additionally, I am highly organized and possess strong analytical abilities, essential traits that I bring to every endeavor.
I am eager to bring my unique blend of skills and experiences to new opportunities, where I can continue to grow both personally and professionally while contributing positively to any team I join.
